VSoIP is an intelligent network-based software solution for video surveillance over IP. The video management system consists of the software modules VSoIP Client and VSoIP NVR (the relevant server is always included in the scope of delivery). The system permits both the use of existing network structures and the integration of IP-ready and analog components into a comprehensive video surveillance network.

All available settings and displays are controlled and used via the VSoIP Client. Operation itself is simple and user-friendly. Using “drag&drop” functions, connections can be made to other cameras or PTZ-ready units can be controlled. Operation-friendly playback buttons facilitate the setup of a mixed multiple monitor for live and playback cameras. In addition, a special multi-channel window is available for the immediate and synchronised image data display of remote cameras.

The VSoIP NVR is responsible for the actual recording and storage of all video signals. Theoretically, there is no limit to the storage capacity as the necessary hard disk capacities can be retrofi tted or existing recordings can be exported onto optical storage media. All users, units, maps and system confi guration rights and setting parameters are stored in a database on the VSoIP Server. At the start of recording it automatically activates the NVR (network recorder).
